Calm and silent I sit
On my master’s lap
World of mine own
Purring as my master
Touches my soft coat
Sleepy eyes but awake
Pleasure enjoyable to all.

My jet black coat
A perfect contrast
With my blue, sparkling eyes
A long admirable tail
Teeth sharp enough to bite
Whiskers adorable to my mate
Beauty enjoyable to all

Purring as my master
Gently smoothens my fur
Mine eyes are away
Looking at the tub
A tub of gold fish
A bowl which I fancy
Joy enjoyable to all

Just the sight of you
Brings innumerable joy
A colorful world to me
As you swim across
Delightful fins swaying
Wish I were your mate
Blissful enjoyment to all

Instant moments of delight
As you swim, I relish
Thy golden body shining
Thy little eyes attracts me
So tempting they call me to you
Amazing thou art in every aspect
Happiness enjoyable to all

There goes my master
After a prolonged eye on you
He hath been keeping me away
Away from you my darling
Yet mine eyes were on you
From time to time
A maze enjoyable to all

Here I come to you
Thou art happy
Swimming delight of your own
A watery world entirely for you
Round and round you go
Angel like fins like a butterfly
Cherished enjoyment to all

On the table so near to you
I put my paw in your world
Ah! Not reachable
Thou can’t understand my love
Fast you move away from me
Away again and again

Why thou canst understand me
I come nearer and near
My paws pain so does my heart

Her Dance

Young moon shining cool and bright, Hypnos singing lullaby with his harp, Form of my partner’s loud snores, Chill breeze from my air conditioner, And my soft feather bed, Thus, are my comfort to slumber.   As I rest and dream, Like a princess with glass shoes, And beautiful gowns, There she stands like a beast, As a hassle uninvited, But prompt.   Nay! not a smothering snake or a ghoul, It’s mine own, Without which a women’s beauty is lost, Like wine, ages with time, Long or short, brown or black, rough or smooth, Always a thing of pride, for a woman.   My mane, when all sleeps blissfully with me, One bunch stands, And dances its heart out to my fan’s tunes, Though her stage is always fixed, She lands on my temple or nose, Tickles me to watch her dance. My relentless attempts to stop her, Always a failure and poof! vanishes my sleep, And along with it my glass shoes and gowns, Alas! Wish I could stop her!
