Sound of tears everywhere
Hark! I hear it louder and louder
People walk by me crying
Smell of fresh rose garland on me
They bend to kiss me last

Smell of pure agarbathi spread the room
A white shroud on me scented well
Flies being fanned off by loving mother
Wiping never ending tears from her eyes

Your sound of a bitter cry I hear
But lo! You had never heard my tears
And here I lie lifeless just for you

You call my name aloud to my deaf ears
Those ears which loved to hear your name
Now are numbed to your cry
They are lifeless with no blood

You sit by my side and see me
Hands which longed to touch you near by
But lo! They are numb and lifeless now
Finger still longing for your ring

Flowers strewn all around the room
Sensual smell, which you refused to give
Now your tears make no sense
Other than my numb heart feeling for it

If fate wasn’t harsh like you

These flowers would have been used for us
To decorate the first day’s bed, but alas!

I could hear the loud cry of my bereaved parents
But my numbed hands couldn’t console them
Love is so painful worthy of my life?
Will it take me to the land of the divine?

There she faints my mother with pain laden heart

This marks the end of my life they nail my last bed

Thou hath lead me all the way from birth to death
Its dark here scared and terrified with numbed body

Suddenly, sounds stop forever for
He hath come to take me to the cursed land
For a grave mistake of mine
Love aye painful but life aye precious
God giveth only once
Not to throw as you like for life aye precious

Into the land of hell all alone
I go….letting my death
Be a knell to all those pain laden hearts
For death ain’t the solution for bereaved hearts….
